Description
BigSis biological insect control solutions are more effective than chemical insecticides and protect biodiversity. Our first solution controls the SWD fruit fly, a soft fruit pest that is a major unmet need with GBP 2.3bn TAM. Our world-first field trial in 2021 showed season-long control and up to 91% suppression; trials in 2023 showed up to 88% suppression vs one spray and valuable yield gain. BigSis has NO regulatory requirement in England and other jurisdictions. Our proprietary automated insect production system scales by replication and transforms the economics of the sterile insect technique (SIT). It is readily adapted to other pests.
